CRIADO was responsible for the design of 10 miles of 5-foot wide, 4-inch thick, 3,000 psi reinforced concrete sidewalks and barrier free ramps for a total of fifteen DISD Elementary and Middle schools. CRIADO provided topographic survey, locating right-of-way corners adjacent to proposed sidewalk for eleven schools. This project included coordination with the preparation of four Programmatic Categorical Exclusion (P.C.E.) documents prepared for the Texas Department of Transportation to secure the necessary FHWA and ENV clearance per the Regional Environmental Center’s (REC’s) P.C.E. Standards of Uniformity procedures.
