Subsurface Utility Engineering

CRIADO was responsible for the utility mapping of approximately 50,000 linear feet of Quality Level D and approximately 145,000 linear feet of Quality Level B for the proposed Loop 9 divided toll highway for the Texas Department of Transportation Dallas District.

CRIADO performed the record utility research, designating, and mapping production, while self-performing the surveying support and overall project management. Quality Level B designation means were used to indicate the horizontal location of underground utilities by the application and interpretation of appropriate non-destructive surface geophysical techniques and reference to established survey control.  Quality Level B mapping provided within 600 feet in each direction of the proposed Loop 9 intersections with nine minor roadways.
