CEO/President Cristina C. graduates Leadership North Texas

CRIADO’s own CEO/President Cristina Criado graduated from the North Texas Commission‘s Leadership North Texas 14th Class last week. Leadership North Texas is a graduate-level leadership program aimed at recruiting, developing and supporting leaders who have a commitment to civic engagement, to learning, to collaboration and to the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Joppa Neighborhood Community Meeting

On April 26, CRIADO hosted a Joppa Neighborhood Improvements Community Meeting with K Strategies Group. This meeting provided an opportunity to the Joppa community to discuss concerns on the design of the new pedestrian bridge being developed for the Linfield Road and sidewalk improvements along Carbondale Street and Loop 12. Nearly 30 residents engaged with the CRIADO Design Team, City of Dallas Engineering, a representative for City Council, and our subconsultants. We are grateful to TBG Partners, who provided the rendering for the pedestrian bridge. Additionally, we thank everyone who came out and look forward to delivering this project to the Joppa community.

David P. receives PE license

Congratulations to David Palacios, who, after preparing and submitting his Supplementary Experience Record, has been granted his Professional Engineer license for the State of Texas. David has also been promoted to Project Engineer in the Transportation Department.

Trent D. receives new certification

Right of Way Manager Trent DeWitt recently passed the Right of Way – Relocation Assistance exam. The International Right of Way Association (IRWA) sets many benchmarks for receiving this certification including experience, course curriculum, and capstone exam.
The IRWA issued (R/W-RAC) certificate is the industry standard for relocation agents and validates CRIADO’s ROW programs growth, training, and commitment to our services. IRWA Certification helps develop a solid, competitive advantage so CRIADO can remain ahead of the curve. The IRWA issued (R/W-RAC) certificate is the industry standard for relocation agents recognized by both TXDOT and the FTA. The IRWA’s high academic standards are internationally recognized and respected by customers, businesses and colleagues across the right of way disciplines.

Q1 PRIDE award recipient is Jeff W.

The PRIDE award recognizes an employee each quarter who excels in upholding CRIADO’s values through People, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence. In the first quarter of 2023, Jeff Williams, Senior Survey Technician, received the award.

His peers spoke of his availability to assist and teach on the job and his humility, “Jeff has always been a person I can rely on ever since my first day at Criado. He has always held a high regard for those he works with. He is a hub in the survey department.”

Jeff has been working in the survey industry for more than 18 years. He has helped to strengthen and streamline the department. We are very happy to have him as a team member at CRIADO.

CRIADO participated in Form Follows Fitness 5k

CRIADO attended the 12th annual Form Follows Fitness 5k presented by Blackson Brick in Downtown Dallas on February 18, 2023. Five employees took to the starting line to support the The Architecture and Design Exchange, which creates programs for the public to learn more about architecture and design. CRIADO also sponsored a booth, allowing us to interact with fellow architecture and engineering firms in the DFW Metroplex.

The race saw its largest number of participants to date with more than 3000 runners and walkers at Klyde Warren Park. CRIADO congratulates all of the finishers, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
