Scope of work:
CRIADO is currently providing civil design services for this on-going contract for the relocation of water and wastewater facilities along the IH 35 through the Cities of San Antonio, Live Oak, and Selma. This portion of the project involves the relocation of water and wastewater distribution facilities within the previously listed cities. The design phase of this project involves the relocation and replacement of water and wastewater lines by open cut, pipe bursting and directional drilling. Pipe sizes typically range from 8-inch to 36-inch in size. This project is quite complex as the relocation, and in some instances, improvements, are tightly fit between numerous other utilities in a very limited corridor space. Plans and specifications are being prepared in an expedited manner to meet the construction schedule and are being delivered in phases (30%, 60% and 95%) for review by AlamoNex staff for use in a design/build process. All work is closely coordinated with staff associated with TxDOT, San Antonio, Live Oak, and Selma.
